Many couples dream of getting married in the South West but think that the planning would be too complicated and stressful, however the reality is quite different. Whether you’ve spent many summers of your childhood on the coast, had a romantic trip with your other half here, or are returning to your home county, it is entirely possible to organise the day of your dreams from afar.
More and more couples are now choosing to marry away from home. Many of our couples live in other areas of the country so we understand the importance of having regular contact with our brides and grooms. It’s our job to make sure that you can easily and successfully plan your big day, no matter where in the world you are.
Regular contact and support
After your initial visit we’ll stay in touch through phone calls and emails in the lead up to your wedding. From questions about the venue itself, to guidance on where guests should stay, we’re more than happy to give you as much information as we can.
If you’re unable to travel down to us again, then don’t worry. Whilst it can be helpful to re-visit Launcells Barton, we’ll be able to help you plan and organise through frequent phone calls and emails. If you are travelling down for visits to relatives or holidays, let us know and we’d love for you to pop in and say hello.
Our couples are our priority, so we will always respond to your questions and queries as soon as we can; you’ll never be left waiting for weeks on end.
Recommended suppliers
Not all of our out-of-county couples have relatives or friends in the area, which can make selecting suppliers confusing and difficult. You don’t want to run the risk of turning up to your big day and having the wrong coloured flowers, or caterers providing poor service. This is why we have a list of recommended suppliers. We’ve worked with these carefully picked professionals many times, and we will only ever suggest the very best that the county and surrounding area has to offer.
Florists, photographers, wedding planners, caterers, and even stationary, can all be organised from afar. No “one-size fits all”
As an exclusive, private venue we offer our couples a space that is completely customisable. The flexibility of Launcells Barton allows you to make it your own, but we know you can’t bring everything so we’re happy to provide plenty of the basics.
Chairs, tables, PA systems, and more, are all included. We know that some of these items can cause big issues when planning from a distance, which is why we make sure that they’ll be ready for you on your special day.
