Perfect Indian Summer’s day for this gorgeous wedding last October!

We met Annie and Ben a year previous to their wedding, they were so relaxed and easy going about their day, that we knew their day would be full of friends, family and lots of laughter!

Annie, Ben and a some very dedicated family members, decorated the venue the day before by hanging huge branches from the beams and filling them with gold leaves and festoon lighting to give a beautiful autumnal feel to their day.

Annie got ready in the Bridal Suite and looked stunning in a simple flowing gown. Kylee Marie perfected her hair with gold leaves to finish off a simple yet stunningly elegant look.

Ben enjoyed the sunshine with his ushers, welcoming guests as they arrived, before everyone took their seats in the Mill Barn ready for their ceremony.  The Cornish Celebrants conducted the couple’s ceremony, as they wanted to combine religious beliefs that were important to Annie’s family, along with personal touches and vows to make the ceremony perfectly personal to them.

Annie made her way to the ceremony with her parents by her side.

After their ceremony, local singer/songwriter James Dixon played outside in the courtyard, getting everyone’s feet tapping away as they tucked into the flowing canapés and sipped on G&T’s.

After being covered in confetti and chatting with guests, Annie and Ben snuck off for a moment together.

It was then time for one of my favourite parts of the day; announcing the newlyweds into their wedding breakfast with all their friends and family cheering and clapping! Their meal was catered by one of our recommended suppliers Pickle Shack, with Woodfired Kitchen getting their oven going in the evening for pizzas.

After their speeches everyone hit the bar, before all their guests joined Annie and Ben for their cutting of the cake and first dance!

A few words from the gorgeous Bride– “There were so many reasons why we fell in love with Launcells Barton as a venue; the location, the beautiful house, the rustic snug bar, but not least Lara and Matt who were brilliant, laid back and reassuring throughout.  We didn’t have lots of ideas for our wedding before we started planning, but most important to us was that it was fun and relaxed. Dancing with my nieces to James Dixon’s incredible music, and drinking prosecco in the October sunshine will be a lasting memory!”

These stunning images are all thanks to one of our recommended photographers Travers and Brown. He has captured their fun filled, relaxed day perfectly!

Annie & Ben, it was a privilege to host your perfectly intimate day. It was perfectly you throughout and we wish you nothing but the best as you start your married life together!
