Last week, we hosted a beautiful styled shoot here at Launcells Barton, bringing together some of our favourite local suppliers to showcase a few new touches!
We’re always looking for subtle ways to enhance the experience for our couples, and this shoot was the perfect opportunity to capture how these small details can make such a difference to the atmosphere and feel of the day.
In the Reception Barn, we were so excited to feature our new rustic wooden tables for the first time. They bring a lovely warmth and texture to the space, pairing perfectly with the barn’s oak beams and soft, neutral tones. Whether styled simply with foliage and candles or dressed with statement florals, they work beautifully with any colour palette or theme.
We also introduced our new olive trees, adding a natural Mediterranean charm to the barns. Their soft leaves and organic texture perfectly complement the rustic tones, bringing a fresh, timeless feel to the spaces. The trees can be placed anywhere around the Reception Barn- whether you’d like to make a statement in the entrance area or create balance at the back of the barn, they can be positioned exactly where you want.
Above the tables, our festoon lights cast a soft, romantic glow, creating a magical atmosphere for evening celebrations — the perfect setting for dining, dancing, and making memories under twinkling lights.
Fig and Smoke added their beautiful touch with elegant cutlery and crockery, bringing the whole space together and showcasing exactly how a wedding at Launcells Barton can look and feel.
We were also delighted to collaborate with Bleujen, who showcased her gorgeous new muslin drapes in both the Mill Barn and Reception Barn. Her soft, flowing fabric transformed each space, adding just the right touch of elegance and creating a gentle, romantic backdrop for ceremonies and celebrations alike.
Alongside the draping, Erica can now offer couples a complete package of drapes, flowers, and styling, making the planning process even smoother. Having everything organised together means less stress for our couples and a beautifully cohesive look that flows effortlessly from ceremony to reception.
The shoot was beautifully captured by Tanya Bogdon, who kindly stepped in with just an hour’s notice and did such a wonderful job of showcasing every detail. Her natural style and eye for light captured the relaxed, romantic feel of the barns perfectly. Despite the awful weather outside, you’d never have known as the barns feel warm, inviting, and full of light.
It was such a lovely day spent bringing together creative ideas and thoughtful touches into the barns we know and love so well!
