Due to the exclusive use nature of the venue, the venue is hired out as a whole. We are not able to remove any parts of the venue.

The house can sleep 15 people in total, including the bride and groom, pull out beds and a travel cot.

We are able to accommodate families in 2 of the rooms, just let us know if you require a pull out bed or a travel cot.

We offer a blank canvas for your wedding. You are more than welcome to style the venue the day before your wedding or hire a styling company to do this for you. Please have a look at our blogs and real weddings for inspiration!

We provide your choice of either chivari chairs or our handmade rustic benches for your ceremony. For your Reception we provide chivari chairs and have 15 x 6ft round tables which can seat 10-12 people and 4 trestle tables which can be used as a top table or gift table. We also have a rustic table that can be used for your cake.  We can accommodate up to 200 guests on trestle tables, but these are not included and would need to be hired in at an additional cost.

Depending on the size of your wedding we have 3 possible ceremony spaces.

We have 2 licensed indoor ceremony spaces, The Mill Barn is licensed for up to 130 guests and The Sitting Room of the house for intimate ceremonies is licensed for up to15.

The Walled garden is licensed for outdoor ceremonies of up to 160 and if you choose to have your wedding outside and the weather forecast didn’t look promising the day before, then you have the peace of mind, that we can move your ceremony into our Mill Barn.

We have parking for 54 cars onsite, as well as a supplier car park for your caterers, band etc to use.

For large weddings we always recommend that couples advice their guests to car share where possible or arrange a taxi. Couples might want to also think about putting on a minibus from Bude for their guests.

All cars must be collected by 12 noon the following day.

You can play live music up until 11.30pm and background/DJ music until 12am.

Our premises license ends at midnight and all guests must be off site by 00.30am

No two weddings are the same, which is why we tailor a drinks package to suit you and your wedding. We have two fully stocked bars and believe that Cornwall has some pretty amazing products on offer, so wherever possible we like to use locally sourced drinks. We have a fantastic range of premium handcrafted Spirits, Ales, Lagers, Ciders and Wines for you and your guests to enjoy.

All bar staff are included in your drinks packages and bar staff numbers are determined based on wedding guests numbers and pre ordered drinks choices.

Guests are not permitted to bring in their own alcohol.

We have 7 caterers on our preferred catering list that we ask you to choose from for your on the day catering, but other than that you are free to choose who you want! We have a wonderful range of Recommend Suppliers to help you, but you’re not obliged to use any of them. If your supplier doesn’t know the venue already, we ask that they come down beforehand to get a clear idea of the space available and of course can provide us with their insurance documents.

We offer on the day co-ordination to make sure that your day runs smoothly, but if you feel like you need a bit more support during the planning process, then we can recommend some fantastic wedding planners.

You are more than welcome to hire in a pizza oven, fish and chip van, paella or anything you can think of for your evening food, but all food must be prepared by a professional catering company.

Launcells Barton are unable to get involved in any food related parts of your day, as we are not food hygiene registered. This is the job of your caterers. We do not have plates or knives for your cake or evening food onsite.

Guests are not permitted to camp or stay onsite in camper vans.
