We have been rushed off our feet and have only just got a chance to sit down after such a busy Open Weekend. The weekend was by appointment only, so that we could give each bride and groom the time they needed and we were fully booked throughout the 2 days!
Cornwall has so many creative and talented people and we were lucky enough to have a few of them showcasing at the weekend!
We had our very own Launcells Barton cake made by the incredible Christine at Peboryon. One of the distinctive features within the grounds of Launcells Barton is a beautiful fragrant pink rose known as the Launcells Rose. Apparently Matthew’s Grandfather had the rose looked into many years ago and it seems it’s unique to Launcells Barton. Every year it blooms and brings beautiful colour to the garden. Christine thought this was pretty
special -as do we- so took this and worked it in to our very own cake!
Jenny from Jenny Wren Wedding planning was
also exhibiting at our open weekend and was an absolute star helping me get things ready the day before! She was there in all weathers moving and shifting things and even rolled up her selves and got stuck into ironing the Bridal Suite curtains, so that they looked perfect!
We were also able to show case our artist’s impressions by the Artographer and give our bride and grooms the first peak before anyone else! Here’s what the Bridal Suite will look like once all the furniture is in and the floors are buffed up!
Ambience Venue Styling and Brompton Buds also dressed our Mill Barn and it looked absoloutley beautiful, even before all the works have been finished on the barn! It was great to show couples what they could do with the Mill barn if they wanted to!
A big thank you to all of our suppliers who were able to be there at the event! We have worked with them all previously in the past, so were happy to recommend them to prospective couples!
