Erica got ready in the house with all her friends and family around her and looked absolutely beautiful in a long sleeved lace gown.
As Erica added the finishing touches, Elliot arrived with his ushers to greet all their guests in to the Snug Bar.
The Mill Barn had been decorated by Erica and her family the day before, with beautiful cascading drapes and greenery.
There are moments at every wedding where you feel so privileged to be a part of someone’s special day. One of those moments is witnessing the pride and love that the Bride’s family feel when they see her for the first time.
Another one of those moments is as I walk the Bride to the ceremony. It’s usually a very emotional time and one where the Bride can become a bit overwhelmed by what’s about to happen, but we normally find ourselves talking absolute rubbish and laughing and joking about something totally irrelevant and, by the time we get to the ceremony, all the anxiety has gone and excitement has taken over.
As Erica and her Father made their way down the aisle, Elliot waited excitedly for his beautiful Bride. They made their ceremony so personal with songs that have special meanings for their signing of the register and personal vows to one another.
As the Launcells Barton team lined all the guests up along the lane, their ushers made sure all their guests had confetti at the ready!
Canapés and drinks started to flow as live music filled the Courtyard, while guests enjoyed chatting and getting competitive with the garden games!
As guests were happily mingling, Elliot and Erica captured photos with their families and Bridal party, before taking some time for themselves as guests took their seats in the Reception Barn.
Erica and her family styled the Reception Barn beautifully the day before with drapes and hanging greenery, with small gold touches.
As we announced Erica and Elliot in, their friends and family were up on their feet celebrating! Guests soon tucked into the wine on the tables as the food began being served.
After their meal and to get a bit of dutch courage before their speeches, Elliot and his best men enjoyed a drink in the bar!
As their band set up and the Pizza Oven got into place, Erica and Elliot went off in the tractor to catch the sunset, while their friends enjoyed the handmade Photo Booth and garden games on the lawn.
And when Erica and Elliot got back, all their guests were ready outside with sparklers to welcome them back.
The happy couple’s band were all set up and ready to welcome the newlyweds for their first dance!
A few words from the Happy Couple-
“Launcells Barton was the most perfect venue for us, we fell in love with the place and its character from the moment we saw it. We couldn’t believe our luck to have found a venue with such charm and with the perfect setup for the day.
The moment we met Lara and Matt we knew our wedding was in safe hands, they were so lovely and passionate about their work you knew they could create and solve anything. Our day could not have been more perfect even if we tried, Lara and the team put everyone at ease and allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment knowing Lara was working tirelessly to ensure everything went to plan. We felt so privilege to have shared this wonderful day and venue with our family and friends and we felt right at home.
There is not a thing we would change about our day, it was simply the best. It is the little details that made us feel so special, like the tractor ride to the fields for the sunset and the bottle of bubbly for when everyone had gone and it was just us two!
We are so grateful for everything you did leading up to to the wedding and on the day. It was the best day of our lives and Launcells Barton was magical – a day and a place we will treasure for a lifetime. Thank you so much!”
Congratulations to Erica and Elliot as you start your new lives together as Mr & Mrs.
We’re sure there’s lots of excitement and adventure to come in the coming years!
