Killer Sunset, champagne sprays and that incredible veil! Lauren and CJ’s wedding really did bring all the Summer “vibes”!

During the heatwave of July this year, Lauren & CJ brought all the good vibes and embraced everything about having a wedding in the Cornish Countryside during the Summer!

While hair, make up and bucks fizz got underway in the Bridal suite of the Manor House, CJ and his groomsmen finished getting ready in the sitting room, before heading out to meet their guests in the courtyard before their ceremony in the Mill Barn began!

Later guests took their seats in the Mill Barn, while Lauren slipped into a gorgeous fitted gown, with embellished cathedral length veil.

The Mill Barn looked beautiful for their ceremony, with drapes and tropical floral touches, perfect for the hot Summer’s day.

Guests filed outside into the courtyard for confetti, canapés and drinks and while they gathered under the big trees for a bit of much needed shade, the sun shone and the sunglasses came out, as the happy couple mingled with their friends and family!

Guests then made their way into the Reception Barn to find their seats and the happy couple went for a stroll in the sun!

Lauren, CJ and the help of “Do Me a Favour” and their florist Sweet Williams styled the Mill Barn and Reception Barn the day before with drapes and touches of whites and greens with a tropical twist.

Beautiful and the Feast served a gorgeous Summer menu before speeches got underway!

While their DJ set up, Lauren, CJ and their guests made the most of “Golden Hour” and enjoyed every second of the beautiful sunlight that was cascading down over the venue.

Their first dance kicked off the evening before the happy couple were whisked off to catch the sunset…. and what a sunset it was!!

After that incredible sunset, the newlyweds arrived back just in time for pizza and sparklers!

A few words from the Bride…

“As cliche as it sounds, our day could not have been any more perfect. We woke up to beautiful sunshine and at points there wasn’t a cloud in the sky – it felt too good to be true! Launcells Barton looks incredible come rain or shine but the fact it was warm and dry meant we could really utilise all of the outdoor areas. Although saying that we did actually choose to get married inside the barn as it was just too gorgeous not to!

Everything went exactly to plan which was a huge credit to the LB team who helped us organise the day. Our suppliers were absolutely amazing too, from the caterers and florists to the DJ and photographer. One of our favourite parts of the wedding experience had to be the tractor ride to the field where we could see the sea and watched the sun go down. It was so nice to enjoy some time to ourselves and take in the events of the day. If I had to have my wedding again, I honestly wouldn’t change a minute of it!”

Lauren and CJ, what a gorgeous Summer wedding! It was wonderful getting to know you both and seeing your fun, relaxed and family filled day come together!
