From Scotland to Cornwall, this gorgeous July wedding has laughter, joy and family!

Wedding Venues Cornwall

From the first moment of meeting Julie and Neil, we knew their wedding was going to be fun, relaxed and all the feels! Julie’s joy was bursting throughout every email and venue visit and their day was utter love and happiness! After their friends and family had made the trip down from Scotland, they joined the happy couple in celebrating on a very hot July Summer’s day in the Cornish Countryside!

After setting up the day before with the help of our local suppliers and some happy helpers, Julie got ready on the morning of her wedding day with her Daughter and close friends and family in the Bridal Suite of the Manor House.

The Mill Barn had been styled beautifully with a floral arch and soft simple drapes ready for their ceremony!

Neil and his Groomsmen arrived early to put button holes on and grab a beer in the snug bar before guests arrived.

Julie looked stunning in a simple long sleeved gown with lace detailed veil. As she made her way down the Aisle with her Father by her side you could feel every emotion ripple through the barn. Their ceremony was conducted by the Cornish Celebrants and was a wonderful celebration of Julie, Neil and their cheeky little daughter.

After the ceremony the newlyweds and all their guests made their way outside into the Courtyard where canapés & drinks were served while guests were entertained by a String Quartet and played garden games on the lawn!

The happy couple took some time away from welcome drinks for family photos, before heading off for some time alone.

Guests then found their seats as they made their way to the Reception barn for the wedding breakfast. The Reception barn had been decorated beautifully the day before by Bleujen and Do Me A Favour.

After Dish had catered their wedding breakfast and speeches had been celebrated, everyone took some time outside in the last of the days sunshine, while Bride and daughter changed into matching leather jackets and mingled with friends and family!

The happy couple cut their 3 cakes.. yes 3 cakes!! and then hit the dance floor for their first dance…

Before dashing off to catch the Sunset!!

Once the newlyweds had returned from watching the sunset on their very own wedding day, we gathered guests together to welcome them back with sparklers before the party really got started!

A Few words from the Bride- “Where to start…our wedding day was everything we hoped for and so very much more. It truly exceeded all of our expectations and this can be said of our experience of working with the wonderful team at Launcells Barton as a whole. Their warmth, attention to detail, meticulous planning, professional expertise and overall loveliness, made us feel that our wedding was truly unique and that ensuring everyone had the best time was all that mattered. The setting is breathtaking and all venue spaces at Launcells Barton are stunning, and offered us a blank canvas to reflect our own personalities in the styling. That said, less is most definitely more as the character and charm of Launcells Barton speaks for itself. We worked with a small team of recommended suppliers who knew the venue well, were able to create exactly what we had hoped for, and above all, were also a delight to work with. There are so many memorable points and favourite parts of the day but a few shine that bit more brightly. From the care shown by Lara and Maddie prior to me leaving the bridal suite, having a much welcomed glass of bubbly ready for Neil and I immediately after the ceremony, the live music throughout the day, the tractor ride in the evening, and not to mention delicious food and drink throughout the day. We loved it all and cannot thank our new friends, Lara, Maddie and Matt for making this all possible.”

Julie and Neil it was an absolute delight getting to know you both!
Each visit you brought joy and happiness and it was a pleasure seeing you celebrate surrounded
