On a somewhat windy day this July, Issy and Dom married surrounded by all their friends and family! Issy and Dom’s wedding was one of those weddings that made me fall in love with weddings all over again! The loveliest couple, the friendliest family & friends and one hell of a wedding band! Dom’s only request for the whole day was that they have the “velvet tones” a band that he’d seen a while back, but knew would be perfect for their day! He wasn’t wrong and are quite possibly one of the best bands we’ve ever had here! With the help of our amazing recommended local suppliers, Issy put her trust in them and everything came together perfectly, meaning they could both relax and enjoy every second!
After an early morning walk around the farm to clear her nerves, Issy popped the champagne and began getting ready in the Bridal Suite with her Bridesmaids and Mum, before her Dad and Brother were let in for an emotional reveal! Issy looked utterly beautiful in a beaded strappy gown and simple floor length veil.
Dom and his Groomsmen also got ready and popped the champagne in the house, making the most of the sitting room before heading out to meet guests at the Snug Bar.
The Mill Barn had been decorated beautifully the day before with cascading drapes installed by Do me a favour and soft pastel blooms styled by Bleujen.
Dom waited patiently as Issy made her way across from the Manor House to the Mill barn for the ceremony. We had all hands on deck making sure that her veil didn’t blow away in the wind and she arrived to her ceremony perfectly!
Issy’s dad walked her down the aisle to meet her eagerly awaiting Groom and as Father and Daughter reached the end of the aisle, the tears started to flow. It was such an emotional moment for all the family, but Issy said that once she saw Dom, all the nerves just fell away!
The newlyweds celebrated tying the knot with their confetti aisle, which had been brought inside to stop the wind blowing it away!
The wind did however mange to break Issy’s veil free as she stepped outside for Welcome Drinks! Luckily, Layla was on hand to catch it and made sure it was put back in place!
While guests enjoyed mingling with canapés and Fizz, Issy and Dom popped into the walled garden for some group photos.
Guests were then asked to take their seats in the Reception Barn for the wedding breakfast. The Reception Barn had been decorated the day before by Bleujen and Do Me a Favour. The Reception Barn looked stunning with drapes, festoon lights and a gorgeous flower and greenery backdrop that framed the whole barn beautifully!
As guests found their seats, Dom & Issy went off exploring the grounds before they were welcomed into their wedding breakfast with “Everlasting Love” playing out and guests cheering and twirling napkins! It was amazing to see everyone so happy and excited to welcome the newlyweds!
It was then straight into some rather emotional speeches before their caterers Beautiful And The Feast served their wedding meal. 
As we turned the space around and their band set up, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and helped themselves to a sea of Espresso Martini’s and Dark and Stormy’s!
The Newlyweds then took their place centre stage for their first dance, before their band “The Velvet Tones” really kicked off the evening! Their band absolutely blew us away! Their soulful vibes and connection with partying guests was incredible to see!
