Back in July, Ellie and Paul brought all their friends and family together with only one goal in mind, to celebrate with the people they love the most and have as much fun and laughter as they possibly could! Paul and Ellie were a dream to work with, from their laid back “everything will be ok” attitude to their warm and welcoming kindness.

Ellie spent the morning getting ready with her Bridal Party in the Bridal Suite, while her florists “Bude Botanical” got to work on their gorgeous flowers for their outdoor ceremony.

While Ellie was putting the finishing touches to her gorgeous understated glam look, Paul and his Groomsmen made sure their buttonholes were in place before welcoming guests.

As Paul and all their guests waited eagerly in the Walled Garden, Ellie, her Dad and Bridesmaids made their way from the Manor House.

After their ceremony guests enjoyed, Pimms, Fizz and mingling!

Ellie, Paul and their florist “Bude Botanical” styled the Reception Barn beautifully the day before and with a little help from their ushers moving their flower pillars into place after the ceremony, the barn was bursting with beautiful blooms!

As guests found their seats in the Reception Barn, Ellie and Paul headed off with their photographer, before returning to guests on their feet welcoming them as Newlyweds!!

Guests then enjoyed their wedding breakfast, with children taking a break between courses with lawn games before their heartfelt, hilarious speeches got underway!

Following speeches the LB team made way for their band “Breakfast for Two” to set up, while guests played games on the lawn and Ellie and Paul took advantage of some time alone before their first dance.

The happy couple were then whisked off by Ken to catch the sunset… and what a sunset they had!!!

Once back, EVERYONE partied into the night!

A Few words from the Happy Couple-

As soon as you arrive at the venue you are struck by its history and personality. Lara and her husband have done such a wonderful job of regenerating the grounds, a perfect balance of modern and classic. The attention to detail is impeccable and we felt confident, come rain or shine, Launcells Barton would provide a stunning setting for our wedding day. And it sure did!

Miraculously we had a sunny day, which was sandwiched between days of pouring rain. Our ceremony took place in the garden, we needed very little decoration due to the beautiful hydrangea bush and clever planting already in place at Launcells. I also have to shout out the rustic brick work of the garden walls as they make for a great backdrop in our wedding pictures.

The whole weekend felt luxurious and romantic, particularly the house, it was such a tranquil space to be in. One of my favourite memories was looking out of the huge sash windows of the house as I got ready, watching all the guests arrive. When we woke up the next morning, my husband and I did the same thing, remembering the day back. 

The venue speaks for itself but what truly sets Launcells apart from the rest is the team. At all points throughout the process they were welcoming, reassuring and provided excellent guidance and support. Their communication is exceptional and although you can never guarantee that everything will go exactly to plan, you can be sure that whatever arises the Launcells team will be able to manage it expertly. 

We have to mention Layla in particular, she has her own fan club in our friends and family who were continually telling us what a Pro she was throughout the day. Layla, you made everything so easy for us, we didn’t have to think about a thing and you ensured the day flowed perfectly, thank you so much!

It’s difficult to sum up what makes Launcells so very special in words, but if you ever get the opportunity to go there you’ll just know.

Ellie & Paul it was an honour to get to know the both of you! Seeing your day come together with the love and support of your guests made it extra special and we all felt like part of the family by the end of the weekend! Wishing you continued amounts of love and happiness for the rest of your married life together!
